The EU Delegation ensures the follow-up of bilateral relations in the areas of political, economic, trade and development cooperation and the implementation of the EU-Jordan bilateral agreements.
Three main priority areas for EU-Jordan cooperation have been identified for 2014-2017 together with the Government of Jordan and in dialogue with Jordanian civil society and the private sector:

1. Rule of Law for more Accountability and Equity in Public Service.
2. Employment and Private Sector Development Policies.
3. Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
